8. Phuket King's Cup Regatta, which is Asia's biggest and most beloved regatta is a one-week event held in December to celebrate the Thai King's birthday. Over the years, this regatta has transformed into a big boat event, with keelboats and ocean-going catamarans taking part in the event.
